New ET Board, New members, new PB's!

Well the boys went out and did it at VW Action, so we welcome Peach (15.2), Damo (13.9) and Neil (14.3) to the club. All that remains now is the initiation rites (the engine oil 'Dip the Bread' ceremony) and they will be fully fledged members.

Also more recently Richie Moss attended York raceway and ran an 11.97, which is just fantastic, still N/A.

Subsequently Jamie and Rich headed up to York Raceway again for the Viking Volksfest, where Rich raced Saturday and Jamie on the Sunday. True to form Rich went out and ran hard from the word go, but the first couple of passes were sketchy to say the least, but as the track got more traffic (and a bit of glue!) he got down to a new pb of 11.91 first, and then smashed it again with an 11.86. Sunday saw Jamie battle a fairly large oil leak that kept him away from the track early doors, but once this was cured it was straight onto the track and immediately ran an equal pb of 12.3, and followed it up with a strong 11.91 pass. It didn't go entirely according to plan though, as the hard launch revealed that the rear end is dipping too much - the tyres hit the wings, one of which subsequently made a bid for freedom further up the track.

Well done to everyone who's worked so hard to get their cars to new levels of preparation and performance!
