Mike Riley has been doing his services tonight to the Rennwagens, in taking Club President, Jamie Palmers daughter and friends to their high school ball. In his awesome original WFIL Radio Samba bus, the graphics are original to the bus as it was used in the 60's as an outside broadcasting van in the US.
Now sporting a EFI controlled 2332cc motor pushing 155wbhp! Fuch's and Porsche brakes all round, this bus now shows and goes!
Mikes also hoping to get his Rennwagens Sticker at this years EBI next week, fingers crossed for you dude!

Rennwagens @UK Cal-Look Drag Day
After a difficult seasons racing last year for many members of the club and a "To-Fix" list to tick off over the winter, 2013 was set to be an awesome season.
The season kicked off at the annual Rennwagen pilgrimage to the UK Cal-Look Drag Day which saw Richie Moss, Mark Palmer, Neil Payne, James "Peachey" Cornes competing for new PB's
While Damo Tomes and John Saxton had brought their cars along for the show and shine.
The weekend started well for Neil with a new PB of 14.1 but unfortunately this run saw the gearbox strip a gear which put him out of contention. Since then Neil has had the gearbox out, rebuilt it and the car is now back on the road!
Richie Moss in the Stink Hound Speedshop car ran faultlessly all weekend.
Mark Palmer, fought hard over the winter to get his car ready. After a difficult 2012 season, luck still wasn't on his side. After being dogged with oil filter issues in the pits, Mark finally managed to get a few passes in, matching his previous best of a 13.0sec 1/4. Only to be let down by his gearbox in the burnout bin.
Mark went home with "Biggest Fail" award. Luckily the award included some vouchers for gearbox specialists Bears Motorsports!

Since then Mark hasn't been put off by the problems and has upgraded his box and is installing it as we speak!
James "Peachey" Cornes, the youngest member of the club, was desperate to beat his PB of 15.2 sec 1/4 mile time, and with not touching the car over the winter he was nervous to say the least!
After a couple of baby launches and lots of encouragement from club leader Jamie Palmer and "Lil Stink Hound" pilot Richie Moss, it was decided that 6,200rpm and dump the clutch was the call of the day!
With this he ran a time of 14.5 smashing his previous PB!
However gearbox problems would call a halt to his day. An incorrectly installed clutch plate and a stock 1300 gearbox were to blame.
Since then the gearbox has been replaced with a Pro Street unit and is also under going some suspension modifications, which hope to see him out again later this year.
